Description: HVAC Installer

Job Type: Full-time
Yearly Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000+
Average performance pay per lead installer per week: $400 to $800 per week with opportunities to exceed. IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Add-ons: $30-$2,000 per installer per week
HVAC Installation: 2 Years (Preferred)
Work Locations: Multiple Locations

Responsibilities:
  • Install residential HVAC Split Systems, Furnaces, Condensers, Air Handlers, Hydronic Systems, Package units, Mini Splits to Grasshopper Standards
  • Installation of copper line sets, gas lines, wiring, venting, drain lines to Grasshopper Standards
  • Building return stands
  • Building duct plenums
  • Building return stands
  • Installation of full duct systems
  • Scheduled Duct repairs
  • Maintaining inventory in service vehicles and cleanliness. Maintaining a cleanly work site and vehicle.
  • Completing installation checklists, paperwork and submitting all pictures to our CRM Software
  • Collecting signature and payment at job completion
Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in installing Residential HVAC systems. Must be able to install furnace and condensing units without training or assistance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent with technology, typing and working with software
  • Honest, dependable, and organized
  • Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team
Requirements for Hire:
  • No Criminal history (no criminal convictions). Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds solo.
  • Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the installation of HVAC equipment.
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time into training to advance position.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Drive new sales for the company in a professional manner consistent with the company’s integrity and customer-care standards.
  • Determine needs and then provide solutions that solve the customer’s issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales.
  • Present a proposal at the Customers’ home, always present the proposal in person, never mail or fax this to the customer.
  • Perform sales presentations, as outlined in company selling process, using approved company presentation materials and methods.
  • Offer financing on all proposals.
  • Educate potential customers on value: Inform customers of all special promotions, the benefits of high-efficiency equipment and optional equipment and products.
  • Refine communication skills and improve customer satisfaction processes.
  • Must demonstrate learning-retention and fieldlevel application of knowledge and skills attained from all trainings provided.
  • Additional duties that are incidental to and in conjunction with a Comfort Advisor’s own sales or solicitations including transferring all required information / communications after the call based on company process standards. This includes all pictures of the job and all necessary notes, drawings, etc., to adequately communicate the job to the operations department in order for them to make the perfect installation; completing required sales reporting; being available to answer questions that may arise; and returning to completed jobs for quality checks.
