About You
You have a proven history in customer service and enhancing the customer experience with an ability to work from our headquarters in a comfortable, welcoming environment. You have the ability to handle a high volume of calls and speak respectfully and eloquently on the phone. You are able to put customers at ease when addressing their concerns and frequently change a negative experience into a positive one. Knowledge of the HVAC industry is not required but being willing to learn quickly is paramount. Having sales, retail, or customer-client-facing experience is a bonus. You are well-spoken, can command a conversation, ask solution-based questions, and have high-energy levels. You are self-motivated and eager to advance. You understand and accept training and coaching as a source of constant growth.
You must have a verifiable history of earnings, as the hourly pay is $20 to $30 based on experience. Please include in your application a cover letter with the answers to these questions:

Here Are The Daily Duties For Our Call Center Position:
- Understand and communicate services offered
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
- Communicate with our customers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner, providing accurate information and creating a positive customer experience
- Schedule service appointments with customers
- Set up accounts/contracts with new customers
- Provide resolution to customer concerns
- Route customer calls received at our Call Center accordingly based on customer needs
- Establish rapport with new and existing customers at our Call Center
- Outbound calls to past customers to schedule service

About You
You are an experienced Residential HVAC Installer. You are able to install furnace and condensing units without training or assistance. You have the ability to work from our headquarters in Clifton Park and travel to visit customer’s homes the majority of the time you are at work. You have the ability to learn quickly and can retain knowledge. You have a willingness and comfort level to diagnose errors and technical problems, effectively and professionally inform, educate, communicate solutions, and offer options. Great communication skills are key. While already operating at a high level, you understand and accept training and coaching as a source of constant growth.
You have the opportunity to abundantly exceed $55,000 based on experience and potential add-on options.

Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC Split Systems, Furnaces, Condensers, Air Handlers, Hydronic Systems, Package units, Mini Splits to Grasshopper Standards
- Installation of copper line sets, gas lines, wiring, venting, drain lines to Grasshopper Standards
- Building return stands
- Building duct plenums
- Installation of full duct systems
- Scheduled Duct repairs
- Maintaining inventory in service vehicles and cleanliness. Maintaining a cleanly work site and vehicle.
- Completing installation checklists, paperwork and submitting all pictures to our CRM Software
- Collecting signature and payment at job completion
Requirements For Hire:

- Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds solo.
- Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the installation of HVAC equipment.

- Demonstrate willingness to learn knowledge of indoor air quality

Grasshopper Heating & Cooling is seeking to add two salespeople, who are referred to as Comfort Advisors, to our team. The position will be based in Clifton Park, NY, but will serve the Capital Region and beyond. Ideally, the successful candidate will be in place prior to the start of (date)___________. Our hiring process is thorough, but moves quickly for the right candidate.
About You
You are an accomplished salesperson with the ability to work from our headquarters and travel to visit customers and prospects. You have the ability to prospect consistently on the phone, in person, and at company trade events. Knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred, but not required if you have a history of sales success in a complex selling environment, the ability to learn quickly, and can retain knowledge. You are adept at selling solutions that exceed $2500 to upwards of $20,000. You are well-spoken, can command a room’s attention, and have high energy levels. People consider you a leader and you consider a sales territory as your personal business. You are accustomed to tracking your sales behavior and metrics as a source of effectiveness and improvement. While already operating at a high level, you understand and accept training and coaching as a source of constant growth.
You must have a verifiable history of earning in excess of $90,000 and a need to quickly surpass $120,000. Top earners in the industry regularly surpass $200,000 in yearly earnings excluding company benefits. Salespeople are expected to earn at a high level, as our reputation, line of equipment, sales leads, and service provide ample opportunity for selling.

You have the opportunity to abundantly exceed $1200 per week based on experience, certifications, and add-on options. Compensation potential will be explained in detail at the final interview.
