Cameron Bostick, from Grasshopper Plumbing came to inspect our hot water heater. He was very kind, was patient with all my questions, and knowledgeable. The issue was corrected quickly. We have also used Grasshopper for HVAC. We have always had a great experience. Would highly recommend.
Scott and his partner were amazing! They were so professional and took great care to respect our house and not damage anything. They went above and beyond to put everything back where they found it and clean up so I couldn't tell that they were even there. They explained their work, showed before and after pictures and made sure that I was satisfied with the job that they had completed. I would highly recommend Grasshopper for any job you might have.
I couldn’t be happier happy with Grasshopper. What separates them from other HVAC companies is how they continue take care of us long after they changed our system. Twice a year I get a visit from a really courteous highly professional crew who run full diagnostics on the equipment and make sure that everything is OK. Just today Aaron DeJesus and Tylor Vogel did wonderful PM on the entire system. They were professional, polite, listen to me, and did everything to make sure that I was fully satisfied. gs were HVAC system (new furnace and AC). It certainly looked like these guys knew what they were doing. Not to mention that they were on time and finished exactly as promised. Highly recommend this crew and Grasshopper in grneral.

This was an excellent experience. We secured three quotes from other vendors for this project, and we found that the baseline prices were comparable. We went with Grasshopper because of the service and maintenance agreements. We also chose Grasshopper because I reached out to you on Facebook and your people were responsive and very kind. I called Grasshopper this morning for an urgent hot water issue and they were here today, fixed it up as best they could and will be back tomorrow to finish the job! The tech was friendly and non-judgmental to my financial situation and was patient while I figured it all out.
Technician Kyle Green was fantastic! he and his partner took all the time i needed to answer questions about my maintenance and service. they were both respectful of my home and I could not recommend them or Grasshopper more. A+ for them!!!
Luis of Grasshopper of Clifton Park was terrific: Professional, thorough, hardworking, and he solved my sewer blockage issue in about 90 minutes. I really appreciated that there was no rushing out the door as soon as he finished - despite the fact it was after 9 p.m. Instead, he had me test my faucets, shower, toilets and appliances and he stayed until he was convinced that nothing was leaking. A stressful situation became a positive situation thanks to Luis and Grasshopper.
Kyle and Matt did an excellent job servicing my Mini Split System. They thoroughly cleaned, inspected,and tested everything and shared ways that I can help maintain it and keep it running like new. Matt also told me about other types of preventative maintenance equipment that I could purchase and have installed by Grasshopper. I have always gotten very good service from Grasshopper and know it will continue in the future.
Luis and Kyle did a great job changing out kitchen water valves and installing my new kitchen faucet.

If you don't have time to do the research, this review will help you because we did thorough research. For our project, several companies were interviewed, including the most recognizable in the heating & cooling industry. It was an alarming experience and showed us companies couldn't be trusted simply because, for years, we've seen their trucks in so many driveways.
However, one company you can trust is Grasshopper. It's a woman-owned business with a mission to help consumers move forward at a reasonable price with highly qualified installers and state-of-the-art equipment. Now that our project is complete, it's clear why they are the only company with so many 5 star reviews.
Connor was the first person we met from Grasshopper. He was punctual, polite, and informative. He took pictures and kept notes on an iPad. He immediately emailed a quote that included different options. As we weighed our options, he offered to bring Kevin, an installer, to our house to explain in detail what the work would encompass. We experienced none of these examples with other companies.
We would later discover that Kevin is a one-in-a-million. We even sent his wife a thank you because he stayed late one night. He's the kind of guy that is not only highly talented and knowledgeable but cares very much about getting it right the first time.
Kevin and his staff took the time to answer our questions throughout the process. It's never easy to have people working in your house, but they were barely noticeable. They ended each day by cleaning up entirely, informing us of completed tasks, the plan for the next day, and when they would arrive. They never let us down.
Connor arrived each day to check in with installers and us to ensure everything was going to plan.
From the first meeting to departure, Grasshopper was a pleasure to do business with. Their knowledge and customer service were impeccable and gave us peace of mind throughout the project.
On 2/13/24 here is an update since the first review: We’ve had no issues with equipment. The equipment has been serviced for routine maintenance each year. Every technician has been friendly and genuinely happy. Today the technician was a woman! She was knowledgeable, professional and left the work area cleaner than when she arrived. Every technician from Grasshopper seems to take pride in their work and enjoy what they do. You can tell they work for a company that cares about customers AND employees.
This is an update 8/29/25. We continue to have an excellent experience with Grasshopper. This time Brian did an annual check/cleaning of mini splits. He was communicative. Showed us pictures of how everything looked. He used his time wisely without rushing. It’s rare to find service that combines friendliness, expert knowledge, and efficiency, but Grasshopper keeps delivering on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Karen is awesome. Took the time to listen to my concerns and then she asked questions I didn’t think of and was very candid and extremely helpful with her responses. I will ask for her specifically when I next need an HVAC contractor and will definitely call Grasshopper again because of her.

My husband and I woke up to no heat during the coldest week of the year, just days before Christmas. It was a stressful situation, but Grasshopper Heating & Cooling completely turned it around with their exceptional service. When I called, Dylan himself responded promptly and reassured me they would take care of us. While he could have sent a technician the next morning, I explained that we had a backup heating source, so our situation wasn’t an emergency. It was incredibly refreshing to see a company handle their customers with such care, compassion, and professionalism.
Dylan scheduled our service call for right after Christmas, and Luke Bennett arrived right on time. From the moment he stepped in, Luke was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. Our dog Gia immediately loved Luke, and he took the time to shower her with attention, which we all appreciated. Luke quickly identified the issue as a faulty induction fan. Before moving forward, Brian from Quality Control personally called us to explain the problem, answer all our questions, and reassure us that they were fully committed to resolving it as quickly as possible.
What truly stood out was Luke’s dedication. Although he didn’t have the part on hand, he didn’t let that delay the repair. Luke went out of his way to retrieve the part and came back the very same day to install it! By the end of the day, our heat was back up and running—a result we didn’t think would be possible during such a busy holiday season.
From start to finish, the entire Grasshopper team was phenomenal. Dylan, the Amanda(s) in the office, Brian, and Luke all went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Their teamwork, communication, and genuine concern for their customers set them apart.
